Terms of Service

PT Meja Bersama Modula ("we", "us", or "our") operates modula at https://modula.works, https://app.modula.works, and https://kiosk.modula.works, including modula Kiosk (available as modula Kiosk Web, modula Kiosk Progressive Web App, and modula Kiosk Android™) and modula Printer Agent, a companion app to modula Kiosk.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of modula, including our websites, web application, APIs, and MCP server. By creating an account or using modula, you agree to these Terms.

If you use modula on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.

1. The service

modula provides a cloud-based CRM workspace with kanban pipelines, lead management, team permissions, file attachments, activity history, and optional MCP integrations that let authorized AI tools read workspace CRM data.

We may update, improve, or discontinue features from time to time. Beta or early features may be offered as-is and may change without notice.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that users you invite comply with these Terms.

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use modula.

3. Workspace data and ownership

You and your workspace retain ownership of the CRM data, files, and content you submit to modula ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the service, enforce these Terms, and comply with law.

You are responsible for obtaining any rights and consents needed to collect and upload Customer Data, including personal data about your leads, customers, and team members.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use modula for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
  • Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the service or its security.
  • Reverse engineer or scrape the service except as permitted by law.
  • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or organization.
  • Use modula to send spam or process data you do not have a lawful basis to handle.
  • Circumvent plan limits, quotas, or permission controls.

5. Team permissions and access

Workspace owners and administrators control membership, roles, and pipeline permissions. We are not responsible for access granted within your workspace by your administrators or users.

6. MCP and AI integrations

modula may allow you to authorize third-party AI tools through OAuth and MCP. You are responsible for reviewing each integration’s terms and deciding what data to expose.

MCP tools provided by modula are read-only unless we explicitly state otherwise. AI-generated responses are provided by third-party services and may be inaccurate; you should verify important business decisions independently.

MCP usage may be subject to monthly quotas and seat limits described in your plan.

7. Plans, fees, and billing

modula offers a Free plan and optional paid add-ons such as Blue seats. Plan features, seat limits, and MCP quotas are described on our website and in-product and may change with reasonable notice.

Paid plans or custom arrangements may require separate commercial agreement or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Support and communications

We may send service-related communications such as security alerts, verification messages, and account notices. You may contact us at [email protected] for sales or support inquiries.

9. Our intellectual property

modula, including its software, branding, documentation, and website content, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or brand assets except limited use needed to access the service.

10. Third-party services

modula may integrate with or link to third-party services such as analytics, email, hosting, and AI platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party products you choose to use.

11. Disclaimers

modula is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither we nor our directors, employees, or suppliers will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of modula.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) USD 100, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, and expenses arising from your Customer Data, your use of modula, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using modula at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk for us or other users, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, but sections that by nature should survive will continue to apply.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or modula will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Indonesia, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
