Account deletion

PT Meja Bersama Modula ("we", "us", or "our") operates modula at https://modula.works, https://app.modula.works, and https://kiosk.modula.works, including modula Kiosk (available as modula Kiosk Web, modula Kiosk Progressive Web App, and modula Kiosk Android^™) and modula Printer Agent, a companion app to modula Kiosk.

This page explains how to request deletion of a modula account (including accounts used with modula Kiosk on modula Kiosk Web, modula Kiosk Progressive Web App, or modula Kiosk Android^™) and what happens to your data. It is provided so users of modula and modula Kiosk can exercise account and data deletion rights.

1. How to request account deletion

To request that we delete your modula account and associated personal data, follow these steps:

Send an email to [email protected] from the same email address registered on your modula account.
Use the subject line: “Account deletion request”.
Include your full name and the workspace or company name(s) associated with the account, if you know them.
We may ask you to verify your identity before we process the request.
We will confirm when the deletion request has been completed, or explain if we must retain certain data for a limited period.

2. What we delete

When we approve an account deletion request, we delete or anonymize personal data tied to that user account, including:

Account profile details such as name, email, phone number, avatar, and authentication credentials (password and passcode).
Session and authentication tokens for that user.
modula Kiosk Android^™ or modula Printer Agent device bind or pairing tokens issued for that user, where applicable (those tokens stop authenticating immediately when revoked).
Personal preferences and account settings stored for that user.

3. What we may keep

Some information may remain after account deletion when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or because it belongs to a workspace that other people still use:

Business records created in a workspace (for example CRM leads, POS sales, inventory, or ledger journals) may remain available to remaining workspace owners or members until that workspace is closed or those records are deleted by an authorized user.
If you are the sole owner of a workspace, we may ask you to transfer ownership or close the workspace before or as part of completing account deletion.
Security, audit, and operational logs may be retained for a limited period for fraud prevention, abuse investigation, and system integrity.
Billing, subscription, or tax-related records may be retained as required by applicable law.
Backup copies may persist for a limited archival cycle (typically up to 90 days) before they are overwritten or purged in the normal backup rotation.

4. Timing

We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within a few business days and to complete deletion of eligible personal data within 30 days of verifying the request, subject to the retention exceptions above and any longer period required by law.

5. modula Kiosk platforms and related apps

The same process applies if you signed in through modula Kiosk Web, modula Kiosk Progressive Web App, modula Kiosk Android^™, or related modula products under the same account. Uninstalling modula Kiosk Android^™ or modula Printer Agent alone does not delete your modula account; you must submit a deletion request as described above.

After your account is deleted, sign out of any remaining devices and uninstall apps you no longer need. Local printer labels or preferences stored only on a device may remain until you clear app data or uninstall the app.
